We are Marvin and Waynetta, the owners of the Lucky Me Ranch. Our ranch is near the Red River in North Texas. It is a happy place that is just perfect for our animals and for entertaining our 3 wonderful grandchildren! We are both storytellers and enjoy having storytelling concerts and workshops at our ranch and all of the animals are involved in some way- from using the llamas to go on bird watching back pack trails to the goats mingling with visitors and just lifting everyone's spirits. We are always happy to share the beauty and fun of our Lucky Me Ranch.
Eryn is our daughter and our ranch manager. She takes care of all of our livestock business and animal training at our ranch, as well as her own ranch, The Blessed Me Ranch. She shows our llamas and our Nigerian Dwarf goats, as well as her own, and does very well with them. Eryn has loved and grown up around all kinds of animals her whole life and they will always be a significant part of her life. She enjoys sharing her love of animals with others and educating people of all ages on the many different kinds of animals at the Lucky Me.

This is our dog, Lucky. He is our wonderful companion and guardian. He looks out for everything here at the ranch. He came to us as a puppy 6 years ago, through a friend who found him abandoned on a dark road at night on Christmas Eve. We have been dedicated to each other ever since.....
